Trex 600 ESP advice
«

All,
I have been thinking about selling my 600 as I don't use it. I was after your thoughts on a price and if you know anyone that might want a mint 600ESP? Part of me doesn't want to sell it but I don't fly it so it should go to a better home.
Trex 600 ESP:
Standard motor (650L),
Standard speed controller (100A),
Standard regulator and RX battery,
3 x Align 610's,
Futaba 401 and S9254,
AR7000,
2 x 6S 4900MAh batteries,
Carbon boom (and original),
Spare set of blades (in wrapper).
It has flown once for about 30 seconds but then I landed (Never crashed or knocked) It is new (you couldn't tell it had flown).
My thought was to put it on the BMFA for £650 (BNF) but I don't know if I can bring myself to let it go.

Unless you need the money Gareth I'd hold onto it. As you progress with the 500 you're bound to want something bigger and then you'll only end up buying another 50 or 90 size and it'll cost you more money.

Actually, I agree with Guy; I'm always selling books (we have far, far too many) and then a few months later I have to source another copy of something because it wasn't as disposable as I initially thought, usually at a vastly elevated price. I think the time to sell something is after you've had your fun with it, and it doesn't owe you anything.

I also agree with Guy & AndyB, 600esp is most prob the best electric Heli you can get, it's big, stable & can be alot of fun. It's actually in the long run cheaper to run then a Nitro 600 given that you take care of the Li-po's and charge them with a good charger & keep to the 80%/20% rule. The only down side is the initial investment in Li-po's for 1hrs or 30mins worth of flying (6-8 packs). I would of got one but went Nitro cause thought I'd try the Nitro scene.

My first 50 size heli was a Trex 600 ESP but sold it to get the raptor SE. I put it on ebay with out the flight lipo. Went for £500.00 with something like 40 bids. So I would keep it. Go with your gut feeling
