All, It has been pointed out to me that there is another company doing a deal if we buy 6 or more they will bring them down to $20.http://www.mountainmodels.com/product_info.php?products_id=444Gareth
Guys, have you considered YT Funfighters? Might make a nice little pylon racer:http://www.ytinternational.co.uk/old_crow.htm

I have just made myself some templates today so as an alternative I could cut out a few kits (wings, sides and feathers and formers) for those who don't want to DIy. Estimate of cost for those might be as low as £6.
the laser cut tabs on the kit would make it SOeasy to build a square and straight fuz!
how many laps, need to calculate battery size?
edit: I just read thru' the build PDF and the laser cut tabs on the kit would make it SOeasy to build a square and straight fuz! it was interesting to note that the triangle stock was added after gluing the sides to the formers as this allows even bending of the sides; wish i'd known that before I built my last fuz.
I'll go for whichever way produces the quickest build and no messing around
