Its a 2 stroke 61 the 46 is the fx?

for the 61 you can use a 12x6 as it has not had much flight time and later move to a 12x7 or 12x8.
As for the 46fx, start off with a 10.5x6 for a few hours of flight time, then move on to a 11x7,

Get a prop balancer - I have a magnetic one from TopFlite. Remove the flash from ALL the edges using about 250 grade wet & dry, used wet, then dry it and put it on the balancer; you're looking for it to balance level. Sand the back of the heavy blade with wet & dry under a running tap (it cuts better), dry it and re-check. Ideally, you should go just too far and have to take some off the other blade - that's what I tell myself, anyway... 

One other thing - make sure that the prop isn't a tight fit on the propshaft because if it is, it almost certainly won't be running true - that is, in side view, one blade will be tracking in front of the other - and will vibrate more than if the prop wasn't balanced (I er..., I speak from experience  )

I understand what you mean. I have some modellers sandpaper that is very fine that i use sometimes that should work. Ok I will get a prop balancer when down my lhs tomorrow.

Ok got some blades today from slough Model shop. Advised on the sizes suggested on here by Tim & sheraz and they said take a 12 x 6 for the 46fx and a 13x6 for the 61. Not what I was expecting so got they blades they said as below as I thought they both can be used on the 61 if they are wrong after the advice on here.

Master Airscrew K series 13x6 (for the 61)

&

Master Airscrew K series 12x6 (for the 46FX)

What do you think?

If it's run-in, a 12x6 will probably be fine for the 46 although it might labour a little. 11x6 might be better

Yep from what was advised by Tim & sheraz I think your right. I will get a 11x6  for the 46. I think the other props will go on the 61 fine?
