Scale Day

We will be holding a Scale fly-in at slough on the 29th August 2010, This thread is to try and gauge numbers so we know how much food we need to get in.

Im back from holiday by then so I will come dowm, I know I cant fly without the A cert but being scale would not miss this.

You all might be in for a supprise it might be the first day out for the Cessna (if i can get it finished) and also for the Tucano (if i can get it started and finished  )

As my spitfire is no where near done, needs painting and i am not very good at that

Both will do, the spit will show work in progress, so will the extra come to mention it, but you have still got a month to go. Do we have a taker for the fuel?

I would have thought that any aircraft that is based upon a real aircraft could be classed as scale. This is just my point of view and others might think differently.

Well i can come to watch but that's it . I don't have any fixed wings.

I have been busy in the hanger with the no nails and wood screws, and can say that I  have the VQ 63in Hurricane ready to fly , 63in Blackhorse Mosquito Ready to fly,  and 48 in P38 Lightning ready to go. The only thing missing is someone with the skill to fly them properly.

Weather permitting I'll be there

Hopefully  I would have maidened the YT ME 109 by then and the YT Hawker Hurricane.

The P47 would be good to fly if I can get the 28cc Petrol engine in by then.

Yes - the XOAR Propellers, JC & YD-A Petrol Engines, RCEXL Kill Switches, ZURICH RC Pilot Sunglasses (brand new to the UK) - the whole shooting match
