Try plugging elevator into channel 1 on the BEASTX, Aileron into Channel 2 and pitch into channel 3. Then see if one of the four combinations at menu point J gets the swash moving up and down. If it does not move in the correct direction , just reverse 2 of the servos using your transmitter.

Well,
After the fun and game's with the align 3G, I managed to get the BeastX sorted out,
After realizing
1. why I could not get 6 deg pitch in the set-up (two of the inner swash ball's were too long,
so I replaced them with the correct length)
2. why I could not get 0 deg at mid/neutral position (A combination of FBL mainshaft and FB link rod's
which has now been corrected)
3. For some reason there was also two, too many shim's (washer's) on the blade grip's between the bearing and the bolt, which is definitely not in the manual, so I have removed them
4. and of course getting my head around the German translated to english BeastX manual
I went down the patch this after noon to see if all this has worked.
After a quick blast around (and some basic hovering) with the T600,
I thought I was time to fly the T700,
So I confirmed all was well with the set-up, and had to reverse
the rudder on the transmitter, other than that I was,
Good To Go
My starter would not turn the .91 over at first so Gareth came to the rescue with a 25.2volt lipo,
That got the starter motor going (I think I got Russ and Gareth lit-up as well
)
A little up trim on the throttle, Check the throttle hold, and out to the line.
I spun up the blade's to check the tracking, and all was looking good,
I heard simon say go on "gray"
So I did as I was told pushed it passed half stick and up she popped in to a hover.

Was really good to see it flying Graham
The late nights paid off. Probably a good idea that you had to rebuild the head and the tail - as least u know its all assembled properly now. The BEASTX is a great flybarless system - you are going to have a lot of fun with that heli.
It flew very well - nice and stable - tail looked like it was holding well in the wind. Wont be long before yr flying it round the patch like a loonie

With all the time spent setting up the model it should have flown perfectly.
Watching you flying it for the first time she looked to be very stable and smooth. I'm sure that once you get used to the model you will start to enjoy it a lot more.
Look forward to see what she can do.
