Just to all let you know that i got my heli back, it was handed over to me by a very nice gentleman on collection. The biggest supprise to me was that the damage to the heli was of less nature then my own crashes
BUT the best part is considering that the heli has been outside since the 10th may being exposed to rain, frost, heat, moisture, wind & infested with all sorts of insects crawling out of it I found all the electronics are working perfectly which are futaba servos, futaba receiver, scorpion motor & Mikado VBAR flybarless gyro
I just can't believe it! It just goes to prove that decent equipment pays off
I will certainly be giving my feed back to the manufactures.
So a big thankyou to the finder 'Chris' who lives opposite Upton park & to Russ responding to the gents email & forwarding to me
I'm really looking forward to putting this bird back into the air but this time keeping it closer to me
here's a pic!

Excellent result Titu. That is a hell of a distance for it to travel, I would have put money on it being in that wooded area (itself very far away for a heli). Given it went so far, the best piece of luck is that it didn't hit anybody, of course.
Did the battery disconnect in the crash? Presumably if not, it is a gonner.

That's great news Titu - amazing there was not more damage. If all the electronics are OK after the exposure they have had then yr right - paying for decent electronics is well worth it - especially when on the buddy box with me
I still think I can make it to Uxbridge tho....
