I think you will find its 8 proportional channels with the switch channels being the extras. I hadn't realised that you could assign the switch's on the latest futaba units. I would have said the 8FG is about the same as the JR DSX 9. I know there was a big thing about some TX's being sold as a 9ch TX but they can now only sell them as 8ch as the number is based upon the proportional channels.Gareth
ok,maybe im being a bit slow here but if the 8fg is good and can do 14ch, whats the point in getting the futaba 10 or even 12 ch?
Andy I will save you a lot of heartache and pain Simply put,Buy A futaba T8FG superyes it's not the best looker But you get a whole lot of bang for your buck It tick's all your box's
QuoteAndy ...except the one about it having a nice feeling on the sticks. Sorry, I suppose I've been a bit spoilt! having said that, though, I'll have a thorough look at it. Hasn't got telemetry though, has it?A.That's sorted too Andy, as the T8FG gimbals are fully supported on ball race bearing, sso the feel is very smooth, so you will still feel spoilt As for telemetry,as far as I know only the DX8 has telemetry and trust me (I had one)the DX8 is a piece of S**T!Anyway a Firmware update's should have that covered when futaba rollout the there telemetry.

I would not write Spektrum off that easily given their market share
