QuoteBut for an artf apart from the tailwheel whats wrong with this http://www.ytinternational.co.uk/spitfire_120/spitfire.htm ?Um. Apart from the non-retractable tailwheel?Well, IMHO:- Colours look wrong to me.- Silencer usually exposed- Undercarriage track too wide and angles not scale- Wing fairing is wrong- Nose looks a bit wrong from some angles- I fear there may be problems with the robustness of the U/C- Have a look on some of the public forums (e.g. RCMF?)I'm not saying that a plan build is faultless, just that if any systematic issues such as these are identified, they can be corrected during the build. And of course, the colour and finish is entirely in the hands of the builder.Sorry, but you did ask!
The nose looks wrong 'cos it's a Griffon engine mark. (I quite like these, unlike most Spit enthusiasts)
The Mark 9 had a fixed tailwheel, as has mine.
I build 'cos I enjoy it!
